At last…… Racing commences at West Kirby Sailing Club…… There are 4 handicap races over Easter – Two on the tide (Good Friday and Saturday) and two on the Lake (Easter Sunday and Monday)….all we need is now fair weather!
The SIs are attached, and may I remind everyone of the revised rules published by the RYA which we have published on the News Fairy.
The racing this weekend is a gentle start to the season and the main aim is to get as many boats out as possible this Holiday Weekend. Unfortunately, the COVID restrictions will still be in place, there will be no bar / food facilities or indeed changing rooms, albeit the toilets will be open. The patio will be open for relaxation after the racing.
As last year, to help race management, if you intend to sail in some or all of the races please enter by emailing results@wksc.org.uk by 22.00 on the day before racing. Entries made later will still be accepted.
Please remember that social distancing still applies – fingers crossed for sunshine and fair winds.
