The Christmas Snooker Handicap Competition is taking place again soon, after a few years break.
It will be played on a knockout basis, off handicap, each match to consist of two frames. The cumulative totals of the two frames decide the winner. The handicap is only applied once, against these cumulative scores, and is not per frame.
It is hoped to play the semi-finals and final on one evening in the week before Christmas.
Each round will have a closing date which will be adhered to. Players’ telephone numbers will be shown on the competition sheet and the onus is on the first named in each pairing to contact the other and arrange to play. If any match is not played by the relevant closing date, the second named player will progress to the next round.
Entry fee is £3, payable over the bar before playing. An entry sheet is on the notice board in the snooker room.
Entries are restricted this year to 16 players and the closing date to enter is Saturday 16th November so please enter as soon as you can. If you are unable to get to the club to make your entry you can either text or email me and I will make your entry.
