Over 350 Races  – 000s of Breakfasts, Lunches and cups of Tea/Coffee

Not to mention the vast quantities of Beer and Wine consumed

Thursday 9th May

Racing starts at 12 noon for the Cross Nations Trophy, a new invitational team racing event for the nations involved in the Wilson Trophy, sponsored by Judy Cross and family in memory of Tony Cross, past Commodore & President of WKSC who, with Peter Price, was instrumental in the concept and introduction of on the water umpiring. Confirmed teams to date:

Birdham Bandits – GBR George Knights – IRE Days of Thunder – USA

West Kirby Hawks – GBR Royal Cork YC – IRE Team Austria – AU

Down Under – AUS

17.00ish Cross Nations Trophy Prizegiving in the Main Room for competitors and helpers

The remaining Wilson teams arrive in the evening. Registration from 18.00.

Friday 10th May

The Wilson Trophy startsRacing: 09.00 – 18.00

12.30 – 15.00 Visit by Wirral and Isle of Man Chambers of Commerce – Wilson Room

18.00 – 20.00 Commodore’s Reception (by invitation) in the Main Room

19.00 -20.30 Informal supper followed by a US/Irish themed party in the Summer Pavilion (tickets required)

Saturday 11th May

2nd Day of the Wilson TrophyRacing: 08.00 – 17.00

12.00 – 13.00 Ancient Mariners Cocktail Party in the Main Room (by invitation) to celebrate the new Fireflies

13.00 -14.00 WKSC Members Drinks in the Main Room. Everyone is invited to come and join the fun

19.00 – 00.00 Traditional Wilson Dinner and Party in the Summer Pavilion. Although we are struggling to accommodate everyone for the dinner, party tickets are still available.

Sunday 12th May – “Super Sunday”

10.30 – 13.00 Champagne Brunch in the Main Room. Tickets are available to order.

16.30 Prizegiving outside the Clubhouse (weather permitting)

17.00 – late Closing Party – food and dancing in the Clubhouse for all those still standing ……!
